INTEGRATION TO THE REGULATION
AWARDS OPERATION "HI-FLY 2011 - 2014"
Meridiana Fly SpA, as a promoter of the event "HI FLY 2011 -2014", provides for amendments and additions to the General Regulations of the transaction and the changes and additions.
With effect from 11.09.2012 all members of this initiative, as reported in the remainder of regulation, can accumulate miles according to the new attached table which provides a class "O" and a distinction between "BASIC
All participating customers, therefore, can accumulate points miles according to the new table attached.
Meridiana Fly reserves the right to introduce more giveaways to participants, services or benefits to widen the range of possibilities. Among these opportunities, customers should be made aware by updating the website www.meridiana.com
As otherwise provided by this integration remains subject to the provisions in the Regulation itself as already amended and supplemented above. It should be noted that this integration is deposited and preserved, like the Regulation, at the headquarters of the sponsoring company for the entire duration of the event and for the twelve months following its conclusion.
INTEGRATION TO THE REGULATION
AWARDS OPERATION "HI-FLY 2011 - 2014"
Meridiana Fly, as the promoter of the award winning plan "Hi Fly 2011 - 2014", decides the following as a modification and integration of the General Regulation of the operation.
- Starting from the 15.01.2012 all participants in this initiative, as indicated in the continuation of the regulation, can also collect miles for flights operated by the airline Air Italy (Corso Sempione 111 - Gallarate, VA - VAT Code 02509350126) for being a company that is part of the Meridiana Fly group. Against this, from the 15.01.2012 the booking systems will be integrated and will use the same classes/fares, while the web sites of the respective airlines remain separate (meridiana.com - airitaly.it).
- In order to favour Hi-Fly Advantage card holders, Meridiana Fly grants the Fly-pass service card free of charge and automatically by reaching just 12.000 (twelve thousand) miles compared to what is already provided for in the regulation.
- Furthermore, only Fly Pass card holders, who are booked on scheduled flights and in possession of a ticket with the initials IG and/or I9, can access the VIP lounges (please note that these benefits do not apply to all connections of the airline and however, only in relation to scheduled flight tickets IG and/or I9 and they do not apply to code share flights operated by other airlines).
- The services and/or advantages offered could change or not be available anymore in the course of this initiative because of impossibility that came up unexpectedly, without this being any breach.
- Meridiana Fly reserves the right to introduce further gifts, services or advantages in order to extend the range of possibilities offered. The participants will be informed about these possible opportunities through the update of the web site www.meridiana.com - airitaly.it.
What is not otherwise established by this integration, remains valid as provided by the regulation.
Please note that this integration, just like the regulation, is filed and kept at the headquarters of the promoter throughout the whole plan and for the twelve months following its ending.

All individuals who have reached at least the age of fourteen and who, while registering, have communicated an address where they can receive mail relating to the Hi-Fly program, are eligible to participate in the Program. Minors are only allowed to register to the Hi-Fly Now
Program, and their registration is subject to the explicit consent of their parents or who exercises the parental authority over them. The registration to the Program of non emancipated minors is subject to the parents' liability or who exercises the parental authority over them and is handled by this person.DEFINITION
"Hi-Fly 2011-2014" Program (in the following called the Hi-Fly Program for simplicity) means an award winning plan promoted by the organizing company, Meridiana fly, in order to let their customers learn more about their products/services and the products and services of their partners.DURATION
The Hi-Fly Program is valid from the 1st of February 2011 to the 31st of January 2014. You can collect miles valid for the program within the 31st of December 2013; you have to request the awards that may have been earned within the expiry date of the program. The registration to the Hi-Fly Program is subject to the present regulation. The organizing company reserves the right to modify, also partially and at any time, the terms of participating in the program, provided that the rights that have already been acquired by the members are guaranteed and there are no unfavorable changes for the registration of new members. Special regulations may also result from other documents relating to the program (for example awards catalogue, newsletter). There are two different Program membership options:1) Hi-Fly Now
All individuals who have reached at least the age of fourteen are eligible to participate in the Hi-Fly Now Program (from now on defined “Hi-Fly Now”). Employees of Airlines or Companies whose employees have travel benefits (industry discount) are not eligible to join the Hi-Fly Program. The Airline reserves the right to deny the registration to the Hi-Fly Program to those who do not satisfy the requirements of the present regulation or to exclude them, in case the lack of these requirements is discovered afterwards, the rights acquired remaining unaffected. To join the Hi-Fly Now, you have to fill out the registration form available on Internet on the Meridiana fly web site www.meridiana.com
in the “Frequent Flyer” section and send it away online. You can also register while profiling in “Registered Customers” available on the Meridianan fly web site www.meridiana.com
Once the free registration has been completed, a form with the details of the personal “Now” code made up of 7 digits will be displayed. The code has to be communicated at the time of booking of Meridiana fly flights in order to start collecting miles. With the registration to the Hi Fly Now program a virtual card will be issued and then sent via e-mail to the customer after his accession. The 4-digit secret code with which you can access via web to all information and functions offered by the Hi-Fly Now program (consultation of your mileage statement, updating of personal data, etc.) will be sent by e-mail to the address indicated during registration. The owner is the only responsible for the security of his code.
The registration to the Hi-Fly Now program is personal and the code can only be used by the owner that has to be able to provide his membership number at check-in or when purchasing a partner service. The promoter shall not be held responsible for incorrect or missing communication of the Hi Fly code or personal data.
Participants in the previous edition of the Hi Fly program will be automatically enrolled into the new one.
Subscriptions of more people on the same account or code are not possible. Each registration is personal and contains all the personal data supplied by the owner that has the responsibility to communicate any changes to the Hi Fly Customer Care at the number (0039) 078952776 or through the website personal area.
The owner guarantees the accuracy of all information provided and is the only responsible.
The data provided by the members in order to join the Program will be part of an archive aimed at its optimal management. The promoter is entitled to handle the data, according to the Legislative Decree 196/2003, and it ensures their use only for the outlined above purposes.
The participation in the program will be subject to the persistence and compliance with all conditions and clauses laid down in these regulations, available on the Internet, on www.meridiana.com in the "Frequent Flyer" section.
The promoter has the right to cancel the registration in case of lack of one of the conditions, as well as in case of non-compliance with such terms/conditions. If you lose the Now PIN you can retrieve it by using the appropriate function on www.meridiana.com
or by calling the Hi Fly Customer Care at the number (0039) 078952776. In this case the secret code will be sent to the e-mail address of the owner as established by the promoter. The promoter can moreover extend the program with the addition of other partners than originally planned. This power will lead to increase the possibilities of benefits for all participants in the Program. For further information about the Hi-Fly Now program, the customer may contact the Hi Fly Customer Care at the nymber (0039) 078952776. 2) Hi-Fly Advantage
Eligible applicants for the Hi-Fly Advantage Program (from now on defined “Hi-Fly Advantage”) are all individuals who have reached the age of 18, provided that they are resident on Italian territory and they accept to become Meridiana fly BperCard Credit Card holders (issued by the Consumer Division of the Banca di Sassari – part of the Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna Group).
The registration to the Hi-Fly Advantage is subject to the issue of the credit card by the Consumer Division of the Banca di Sassari that reserves the right to verify the personal requirements of the applicant before issuing the credit card. The information sheet on the conditions of issue is available on the web site www.meridiana.com
In case of non issue of the card by the credit Institute, the applicant can not be registered to the Hi-Fly Advantage program, but can register to the Hi Fly Now program, according to the procedure written in Paragraph 1. Employees of Airlines or Companies whose employees have travel benefits (industry discount) are not eligible to join the Hi-Fly Advantage. The Airline reserves the right to deny the registration to the Program to those who do not satisfy the requirements of the present regulation or to exclude them, in case the lack of these requirements is discovered afterwards, the rights acquired remaining unaffected. Employees of the Meridiana Group can participate in the Hi-Fly Advantage version only for the part regarding the earning of miles through the use of the credit card as a payment form. Therefore the earning of miles resulting from the use of airline tickets or services of the Group’s and partners companies in favour of the Group’s employees is excluded. In order to join the Hi-Fly Advantage you have to fill out and send the registration and card request form available on Internet on the web site www.meridiana.com
in the reserved “Frequent Flyer” section to the relating address or fill out the paper forms of the information brochure. The registration request will automatically be submitted to a scoring process by the credit card issuer. In case of positive feedback, the applicant will receive the credit card to the address written in the application form. The credit card will have your personal Hi-Fly code written on it, which you will have to communicate while booking and checking in to Meridiana fly flights, in order to start earning miles.
The Meridiana fly-BpERcard credit card is free for the first year, and it stays free also during the years after the first one provided that it is used for at least one transaction of a minimum amount of 1,00 € during the previous year. Otherwise from the second year the annual renewal fee is of 15,00 Euro for the Classic Flexible Card.
Once you receive the card, the holder has to activate it by calling the toll-free number 800.440.650 of the Consumer Division of the Banca di Sassari; only starting from that moment you will be registered to the Hi-Fly Advantage Program and can start earning miles.
The organizing company can not be held responsible for delays due to postal hitches. The secret 4 digit Hi-Fly code, essential to access via web all the reserved information and functions that the Advantage version offers (viewing the mileage statement, update of one’s personal data, etc.) will be sent by e-mail to the registered address. The holder is the only one responsible for the privacy of his/her secret code.
The credit card is personal and can only be used by the holder. On staff’s request, the holder must be able to provide his/her Hi-Fly code at the check-in of a Meridiana fly flight and/or of one of the partners services. The organizing company can not be held responsible for the incorrect or failed communication of the Hi-Fly code or of his/her personal data. The participants of the previous editions of the Program will automatically be registered to the new Hi-Fly Program. It is not possible that more people are registered to the same account/personal code. Every registration is personal and contains the personal data provided by the holder who has to notify the Customer Service of the Consumer Division of the Banca di Sassari of any changes at the toll-free number 800.440.650.
Every holder is entitled to only one account/cod.
The holder warrants the accuracy of all information provided and is the only one responsible. The data provided by the holders for the registration to the Hi-Fly Program will be part of an archive with the purpose of its optimal handling. The organizing company is the controller of the data processing, pursuant to the legislative decree 196/2003, and warrants the use only for the purposes pointed out above.
The registration to the Hi-Fly Advantage is subject to the persistence and respect of all conditions/clauses written in the present regulation, available on Internet, on the web site www.meridiana.com
in the reserved “Frequent Flyer” section and on the web site of the Consumer Division www.bpercard.it
. The organizing company and the Consumer Division of the Banca di Sassari reserve the right to cancel the registration of the holder once he/she lacks of one of the conditions/clauses, as in the case of non respect of the clauses/conditions. In case of theft or loss of the credit card, the holder has to immediately notify the Customer Service of the issuer who will block the card and possibly replace it.
The organizing company, however, will not be responsible for any possible fraudulent uses of the lost or stolen card. In case of loss of the secret Hi-Fly code, the holder can request it through the special function on www.meridiana.com
or call the Hi-Fly Customer Care at the number (0039) 078952776. In both cases the secret Hi-Fly code will be sent to the holder’s email address according to the procedures of the organizing company’s regulations. The organizing company has the right to extend the Program with the integration of other Partners than the ones originally planned, provided that the exercise of this right will determine an extension of the possibilities of advantages and/or benefits for all applicants. For any information regarding the Hi-Fly Program (except for the changing of personal data) the Customer can contact the Hi-Fly Customer Care at the number (0039) 078952776. It is possible that on the statement of every customer sent by the Banca di Sassari there are points instead of miles, specifying that each point equals 2 miles.MILES
The miles are the basic unit of calculation for the Hi-Fly Program. To every member’s personal code corresponds an account on which the miles earned through the use of Meridiana fly flights, the use of services and the purchase of our Partners products or any other service established by the Hi-Fly Program will be credited. For co-branded Meridiana fly BpERCard credit card holders the earning of miles is also allowed through the use of the credit card as normal means of payment for any kind of transaction.
The miles are credited according to the mileage chart enclosed in the present regulation. The member is entitled to the miles earned through the Meridiana fly flights and the services of the partners of the Hi-Fly Program only upon completion of the services purchased and only if the user of the services is the Hi-Fly account holder himself.
In case of Meridiana fly flights operated by different carriers other than Meridiana fly, in order to earn the miles, the customer has to send the Hi-Fly Customer Care a clear copy of the original ticket and boarding card, within 4 months of the date of the flight. In case of reprotection by Meridiana fly, as a consequence of a flight cancellation close to the departure (within 36 hours), the holder can request the credit of the miles by sending the above mentioned documentation to the Hi-Fly Customer Care within 4 months of the date of the flight, but not after the Hi-Fly Program’s validity.
Some special fares and some Partners fares or services may not entitle the member to the credit of the miles. In particular the credit of miles is excluded for tickets issued with certain special fares such as “Industry Discount” (ID, AD, Courtesy fares), IT fares (connected to an Inclusive Tour package of a Tour Operator) or group fares.
In some non-automated airports, the automatic credit of the miles may not be possible. In case of failed credit of the miles, the member is entitled to the credit of the miles by sending a clear copy of the original ticket and boarding card, within 4 months of the date of the flight to the Hi-Fly Customer Care by mail.
We also accept the documentation regarding Meridiana fly flights that were taken not more than one month before the registration to the Hi-Fly Program.
Documentation regarding services/products of our Partners used on days prior to the registration to the Hi-Fly Program (date of registration to the Hi-Fly Now or date of activation of the credit card) will not be accepted. The miles earned by different members can neither be combined with each other in any way on one single account nor can they request points compensation among themselves. Members can collect miles only for flights taken by them. Members are not entitled to miles for airline tickets purchased by the them, but used by others. Flights and services used with an award voucher do not entitle the member to earn miles. Meridiana fly airline tickets and partner services purchased, but not used, do not entitle the member to earn miles.
Flights taken with free tickets or with tickets issued with discounts equal to or over 50% of the applicable public fare do not entitle the member to the credit of miles. These conditions are considered definite and therefore the organizing company can cancel points acquired by mistake in violation of these terms. Meridiana fly passengers who have charter tickets issued by Tour operator do not earn Hi-Fly miles. Charter flights do not entitle to miles (except for specific agreements with Charter Airlines in case these become Partners of the Hi-Fly Program). In case of free upgrade to a higher class, granted by Meridiana fly, the member will receive the credit of the miles according to the service class written on the ticket and not according to the one actually used. In case a member of the Hi-Fly Program is registered to another loyalty program of Partner Airlines, the miles can not be accumulated for the same flight in more programs at the same time.
All those who did not use their Hi-Fly points within the 31st of January 2011, can receive the credit in miles, if they take at least one Meridiana fly flight within the 31st of May 2011. With the conversion 1 point corresponds to 2 miles.
On the Internet web site www.meridiana.com there is the mileage chart
with all the routes operated by Meridiana fly and the corresponding miles. This chart will allow all members to verify how many miles they can earn for every ticket/route they buy and which they will see added to the miles already travelled. PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS

The services provided and the products offered by the business partners that entitle to earn miles of the Hi-Fly Program are listed in the pages of the Frequent Flyer section on the web site www.meridiana.com
The Partners include all suppliers of services except for Meridiana fly. The Partners of the Hi-Fly Program are the only ones responsible of the conditions for granting miles regarding the use of their services or the purchase of their products. The holder who would like to use the services/products of the Partners has to verify with the latter the terms in force. The holders can collect miles only for services they themselves benefited from. Members are not entitled to miles for services purchased by the them, but used by others.
In order to receive the credit of the Hi-Fly miles from the Partner, the member has to communicate his/her personal code when benefiting from the service. The miles collected through the purchase of the partners services will be credited within 30 days from the benefiting of the partner’s service. In case of failed credit regarding a service provided by one of the Partners, the holder has to contact the Hi-Fly Customer Care and provide the details of the Partner’s service for which the credit of the miles has been requested; furthermore the holder has to keep the documentation that certifies the payment of the service.
There is no credit of Hi-Fly miles in case the holder already forwarded a request to the Partner in order to receive the credit for other loyalty programs of the same service or for the purchase of the same product. The rules provided by the Partners of the Hi-Fly Program are those valid for services purchased with them. The organizing company denies any liability regarding services/products offered by the Partners. Any complaint must be directly addressed to the Partners. The miles can neither be negotiated nor converted into money .
The collected miles are written on your mileage statement that can be viewed online on the web site www.meridiana.com
and accessible through one’s secret code and personal code. The organizing company reserves the right to cancel any possible miles credited unjustly.AWARDSAwards available for all members registered to the Hi-Fly Program.See the award's list.
Eligible for benefiting from the awards are the person entitled himself or another person expressly indicated.
In case of use of an award ticket with Meridiana fly, there is a limited number of seats for the Hi-Fly Program. This number varies depending on the flight, the day, the time of the year and the destination. Any decision of the companies regarding the choice of flights or seats available is final.
The person entitled has to request the award ticket on any Meridiana fly scheduled flight, provided that it is operated by Meridiana fly aircrafts; flights operated by other carriers, even if the flight number is preceded by IG (Meridiana fly), are excluded.
Upon reaching one of the range of miles on the chart attached, the holder can request the issue of the voucher directly from the online mileage account. This request will involve the automatic deduction of miles. The Hi Fly Customer Care will send then the voucher number by e-mail..
The voucher, once issued, is valid for a period of 90 days from the date of issue if it relates to awards consisting of services (flights, rentals, stays, etc..), and 10 days in case of prizes consisting of items chosen from the catalog . At the expiration of the term, if the voucher was not used, it will be considered automatically expired and the miles will be reduced from the online account.
The voucher, once issued, can be canceled and converted into Hi-Fly miles before its expiration by calling the Hi Fly Customer and by communicating the personal code and the voucher number to be canceled.
The person entitled, after receiving the voucher, has to contact the Hi-Fly Customer Care at the number (0039) 078952776 and request the award in the following ways:a) Awards from catalog
In order to take advantage of the awards from catalog, you need to communicate the voucher number, the name of beneficiary (yourself or another person) the description and the code of the prize. Then you need to indicate the address for shipping. In case of non-delivery of the prize due to insufficient address and/or transferred and/or inaccurate recipient, the promoter will attempt, for once, to call the recipient and, in case of no response, it will cancel the shipping order.b) Airline tickets
In order to benefit from award tickets, you need to request the reservation by telling your personal code, the voucher number and the name of the beneficiary (yourself or another person). The Hi-Fly Customer Care will communicate the reservation code and its validity (ticketing time limit) within which the person entitled has to confirm the issue of the award ticket. After the expiry of the time limit, the reservation will automatically be cancelled and the person entitled has to make a new one by calling the Hi-Fly Customer Care again (within the time limit of 90 days that is the maximum validity of the voucher).
The award airline ticket (domestic or international, in economy or business class) can be issued at the same time the reservation is being made or afterwards – within the ticketing time limit – by telling the operator of the Hi-Fly Customer Care the details of one’s ID card or the beneficiary’s ID card, that will be presented at the check-in.
The person entitled has to request the award airline ticket in electronic format and pay the airport taxes by credit card. In case the ticket was not or partially used, the airport taxes can be refunded only in case the request is submitted within the validity of the ticket (12 months from the issuing date).
The booking and issuing of award tickets or the delivery of catalogue awards will not be possible in Travel Agencies and Meridiana fly ticket offices.
In case the award is requested for another person who is not the person entitled, the latter has to specify the name, surname, address and telephone number of the other beneficiary in the specific space of the voucher.
In case of award airline ticket request, from the moment of issuing the ticket is valid 12 months
. Expired award tickets can not be used, refunded or renewed.
The award voucher can not be converted into money and once requested, it can not be replaced in any case, not even with another one of equal value. The Meridiana fly airline ticket can be changed within its validity, provided that there is availability of seats in the reserved booking class and after having paid a fee of € 35,00, issuing fees, any taxes difference in case of change route if the new taxes will be higher than the original departure airport, that is outside the present promotional program according to the business rules of the Airline for the change of tickets with specific fares, both for domestic and international tickets. In case of various changes requested at the same time for the same airline ticket, the fee to be paid is one, whereas in case of changes requested at different moments, the customer has to pay the fee again.
There are no discounts on the mileage that is required for award tickets for beneficiaries who have special discounted fares (e.g. minors, students, elderly people, etc).
The regulating of award tickets is subject to the “General Terms of Transportation” (see the paragraph of the Terms and Conditions written on the airline tickets). c) Partner Services
The awards (consisting of goods and services) offered by our partners must be requested by telling one’s personal code, the voucher number and the name of the beneficiary (oneself or another person). The Hi-Fly Customer Care will communicate the corresponding code and send the documentation regarding the benefit of the award to the person entitled. For changes or cancellations of partner services, the rules of the latter will be applied. The organizing company is not responsible in any case for any kind of possible inefficiency caused by third party suppliers. Within the present program, there are some further promotional initiatives listed below:FLY-PASS
The Fly-Pass service card is automatically granted for free to all Hi-Fly members who have reached the following mileage levels during the period of validity of the Hi-Fly Program:
- Hi-Fly Now members: 12000 miles of flights taken that have to be earned only during the period of validity of the Program in progress.
- Hi-Fly Advantage members: 9000 miles of flights taken (earned through the use of airline tickets) plus 2000 miles earned through the use of the credit card as a payment form.
In order to reach the necessary miles, the entry bonus and any other bonus, the points relating to previous programs and those earned by benefiting from partner services are not to be considered included. Employees of the Meridiana Group can not be Fly-Pass Card holders. The necessary miles must be earned only during the period of validity of the Program in progress.
The change of status, for all those who reach the required mileage levels, is automatic and there will be no reduction of miles from the mileage statement.
The Fly Pass status is valid one year from the day the member reaches that status.
On the basis of own estimates, the promoting company foresees to distribute a jackpot of € 150.000 Euro VAT included. The Promoter has taken the necessary steps to lodge a deposit to the Ministry of Economic Development pursuant to the decree of the President of the Republic 430/2001.
PUBLICATION OF THE REGULATION AND THE PLAN
The regulation will be entirely published on the web site www.meridiana.com and pursuant to the article 10, paragraph 3 of the decree of the President of the Republic 430/2001, it will be kept at the headquarters of the delegated party for the whole duration of the plan and for the 12 months afterwards.
The present award winning plan will be promoted through the Internet web site www.meridiana.com and through promotional material distributed in the various travel agencies.
REVOCATION OF THE PROMISE OR CHANGE OF THE TERMS OF FULFILMENT
The Promoter reserves the possibility to introduce further promotional initiatives during the course of the event in order to favour the user, in particular there may be extensions of the initiative or additional awards that can be won in addition to those already included.
Particularly, there may be additional miles for certain products or services during some periods of time of the promotion, as well as additional awards to be defined, that can be won in addition to those already definitively included in the catalogue, but only while stocks last. Furthermore, the promoting company reserves the right to replace some of the catalogue’s awards that, for their nature, could go out of production or be replaced by later models during the course of the promotion. The destinations listed in the chart for the request of award tickets can also vary as a consequence of changes to the operational flight plan of Meridiana Fly.
The Promoter can revoke or change the terms of fulfilment of the present award winning plan for a justified reason, pursuant to the article 10 of the decree of the President of the Republic 430/2001, by giving prior notice to the promisees in the same form the promise was made or in an equal form.
For anything not mentioned in the regulation, the Promoter refers to the content of the decree of the President of the Republic 430/01.
