The seat assignment allows you to choose:
- your preferred onboard seat,
- with paying, more spacious seats with greater comfort
- simply to be next to a window
- to reserve seats for the whole family or to be next to your travel companion.

There are a few limitations to the first rows and to seats next to emergency exits for safety reasons, so you need to verify the necessary requirements listed here to access them.[/r2] [r3] When can I select my seat?
At any time after buying your ticket as long as the reservation was made at least 30 minutes beforehand. For passengers in Basic fare, service it's available only from 7 days before departure.[/r3] [r4] How much does seat assignation cost?
The service is paid for and the cost varies according to the type of seat selected, the flight booked (national, international, intercontinental) the type of passengers, from a minimum of 12 Euros to a maximum of 60 Euros.
Special tariffs are reserved for Fly-pass Card holders.[/r4] [r5] On which flights can I have a seat assignment?
The service is being developed on the entire Company network and is actually in place for flights departing from the airports of Bari, Bologna, Brindisi, Catania, Cagliari, Cayo largo, Crotone, Florence, Fortaleza, Fuerteventura, Genova, Holguin, Lampedusa, La Romana, Havana, Londra, Maceiò, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Milan Bergamo, Naples, Natal, New York, Olbia, Palermo, Paris, Pantelleria, Pisa, Porto Seguro, Rome Fiumicino, Salvador, Santiago de Cuba, Tenerife, Turin, Venice, Verona. The seat assignation is available to Meridiana flights exclusively and not to other flights operated by other companies.[/r5] [r6] What documents do I need to show at check-in at the airport?
You need to show your booking receipt for your seat, which you will have to have printed out during the online purchase stage.[/r6] [r7] Is there technical assistance for the service?

[r1]Who can use it?
Web check-in service it's available if traveling with a handbag or checked bag. To use service you must have already purchased baggage transport where it is requested. You can go with your baggage receipt to one of the check-in counters, or to a Fly-pass counter where is it present for delivery and then directly proceed to security controls with your own already printed boarding pass. The service is not available for passengers traveling with children under the age of 2 and for all passengers requiring special assistance.[/r1] [r2]How much does web check-in cost?
From 7 days to 2 hours before your flight departure, you can use the free web and mobile check-in service from, excluding Seat-com seats.[/r2] [r3]When can I do the web check-in?
You can use the web check-in service starting from 7 days until 2 hours prior to your flight departure. To conclude the operation, however, you need to have booked your flight at least 30 minutes beforehand.[/r3] [r4]How do I use web check-in?
To use the service, you must be logged in the dedicated area, choose the seat and click on the appropriate checkbox, where the service it's available.[/r4] [r5]On which flights can I use web check-in?
The service is being developed for the both Company network and is actually in place for Meridiana fly flights departing from the airports of Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Florence, Milan Linate, Naples, Olbia, Rome, Turin and Verona, and for Air Italy flights departing from the airports of Bologna, Catania, Milan Linate, Naples, Olbia, Turin and Verona. The web check-in service is available on the routes operated by aircraft Meridiana.
Warnings:
For security reasons, web check-in is not available for flights to United Kingdom, Israel, Moldova, Russia, Unites States, Ukraine. [/r5] [r6]Are there other terms connected to the web check-in service?
At Milan Linate and Malpensa, Bologna, Naples and Olbia To premium class owners passengers, it will place on boarding card a sticker that will allows access to the Fast Track service. At Rome Fiumicino there is a speedy access at security control reserved for Meridiana passengers: "Fast track" located next to the Company check-in desks. Those who have done the web check-in can go directly to it.[/r6] [r7]Do I need any particular documentation at embarkation?
After doing the web check-in you need to print out your boarding pass in duplicate copy for each passenger:
- the copy titled “Airport” has to be handed over at embarkation,
- the copy titled “Passenger” is shown to cabin personnel at the moment of boarding the aircraft, then kept as a pro-memoria of the assigned seat. Passengers holding tickets with Territorial Continuity tariffs in Class L reserved for residents, and a few categories of passengers (for example, passengers older than 70) have to present themselves at the boarding gate with their original residence document stating their place of residence (or the particulars required for the type of passenger utilising the tariff it is meant for). In the absence of the correct documentation, boarding will be denied without further possibility of either re-purchase or compensation .[/r7] [r8]Is there technical assistance for the service?
